And... here we are months since my last post. Oh well. There was a lot of fun had since then...
Even though summer was kind of lacking, we still had plenty of opportunity to get out and enjoy our new city.
The most fun for Harry was the dinos at the zoo, hands down. Pretty much paid for the membership looking at animatronic creatures, that have been extinct for 65 million years.
Me: Harry, do you want to go see something else at the zoo? Something alive, maybe.
Harry: No, I don't think so. Only dinosaurs.
Me: No lions? Elephants? How about the snakes?
H: No, they don't move as much as the dinos. And they don't spit like the dilopho*. They're boring. I like the spitters.
Damn high tech dinos. Vetoed due to spitters.

Outside of the zoo, we spent time splashing in water. Fountains when it was warm, puddles when it was wet. I'm not sure which is favored more...
This is a really cool fountain.
The water crashes down the rocks and fills up the pool, then drains.
Repeat, repeat, repeat...
Now with all that playing, a boy can get hungry. and what's summer without a little urban foraging?
Or ice cream?
More from the summer of fun...
