Savory Waffles with Bacon, Cheddar and Corn1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 egg yolks; separated
1 3/4 cups milk
1/2 cup cooking oil
1/4 cup each of bacon ,cheddar and corn kernels
Blend the dry ingredients in one bowl and make a small well in the centre. In another bowl blend egg yolks, milk and oil, then pour into the dry ingredients. In a third bowl, whip up the egg whites, then gently fold into the mixture. Once mixed, add the bacon, cheddar and corn.
Pour into the preheated waffle iron and cook according to the intructions.
